Besides the branches of the Danube and the Mosoni Danube, it is the numerous gravel mine ponds with the promise of catching cultivated fish that make Szigetköz a real fishing paradise. The two fishponds of Lipót, both located in a wonderful setting, are just a 5-minute walk from the hotel and await fishing lovers. You can catch pike, carp, tench, and amur in the lakes and catfish in the Danube. For a price of HUF 2000 you can buy a daily ticket in Lipót.
Hunting
The most typical game animals of the region are roe deer, deer, and wild boar attracting a great number of hunters. This untouched, romantic region offers great opportunities for hunting (especially for wild boar) – of course with trained leaders and rangers. Hunters have quite good chances, because the neighborhood is very rich in game. |
